Introducing the i-sopod floatation pod

Our pods look a little like spaceships — and that’s about right. Meet the i-sopod, the craft we use to carry you somewhere completely still.

The i-sopod — our spaceship for the inner world. Float Culture, Auckland.

Allow me to introduce the i-sopod — our spaceship-like floatation pods. These are state-of-the-art Epsom-salt water pods, designed to transport you to a world of absolute calm and tranquillity, where you'll rediscover your health, vigour and enthusiasm. A floatation pod is a powerful, natural tool for achieving harmony of body and mind, built on a genuinely scientific approach to deep relaxation.

Why this pod

Precision-engineered, the i-sopod is among the most technically advanced and luxurious floatation systems available. Three years of research and development, plus more than sixteen years of combined industry experience, went into the design. The result is a pod that's spacious, beautifully finished, and — importantly for first-timers — completely under your control.

It only looks like a spaceship. Really it's the quietest room you'll ever lie down in.

You're in charge

Inside the pod are two simple, clearly labelled, easily reachable switches: one for the interior light, and one for the attendant call button. That's the whole control panel. You decide whether you float in light or in dark. You decide when you've had enough. The lid is never locked, and you're never trapped — most people are surprised how quickly any nervousness gives way to not wanting to get out.

The i-sopod, briefly

  • Spacious, premium Epsom-salt floatation pod.
  • Skin-temperature water saturated with magnesium-rich salt.
  • Full control of light and lid — you're never enclosed against your will.
  • Built specifically for deep, sensory-free relaxation.

A powerful tool for the harmony of body and mind — natural, simple, profound.

We're proud of these pods, and prouder still of what people find inside them. If you've been curious about floating, this is the craft that'll take you there. Come and try the i-sopod for yourself at our Grafton centre in central Auckland — the intro offer is the perfect first flight.
